—
ANTICIPATED OUTCOMES
The residency is designed to support the development of:
– New interpretative frameworks, inquiries, and projects
– Performances and, where appropriate, premieres or first public realizations
– Expanded interpretative and research methodologies
– Sustained collaborative relations among performers and mentors
– New repertoire perspectives, practices, and presentation formats
– More precise approaches to sources, rehearsal, interpretation, and documentation
– Critical reflection upon individual and collective artistic practices
– Public presentations at the seventh Bled Contemporary Music Week
– International artistic relations and future collaborative possibilities
– New dialogues among performance, genealogy, materiality, perception, structure, and artistic inquiry
Each project’s outcomes will depend upon its artistic premises, developmental stage, and trajectory of inquiry. The residency therefore recognizes development not only through completed performances, but also through conceptual and methodological clarification, the revision of assumptions, the acquisition of embodied and practical knowledge, and the formation of sustained artistic and professional relations.
